Barn Dances

JIF co-sponsors monthly barn dances (traditional American contra dances), which are taught and called to live music. There is basic instruction for beginners (and those who need a refresher) during the first half-hour. The schedule for Fall 2008 is below.

Thursday dances are from 7:30 to 9:30 pm at Capital School. Use the 6th Street entrance. Saturday/Holiday dances are 7:30 to 11:00 pm.
